Mocksville Approves New Strategic Plan

The Mocksville Town Board has approved a new strategic plan, which will guide the town’s decision-making for the next three to five years. This was adopted along with new mission, vision, and values statements. Kaplan Early Learning Company to Open Warehouse in Mocksville

Kaplan Early Learning Company, an international provider of preschool products that enhance learning for children ages birth to age 8, has chosen Mocksville to expand the warehousing capacity for one of its affiliates, Guidecraft.  Guidecraft, which designs, manufactures, and sells educational toys and creative furniture, will move its products to Mocksville from its previous warehouse space in New Jersey. Mocksville Amends Rose Cemetery Rules for Safety and Maintainability

The Town of Mocksville loves to see residents honor their loved ones buried at Rose Cemetery. However, for the safety of staff and visitors and proper maintenance, the Town Board made some changes to the rules at its July meeting. The most significant change involves the types of remembrances that may be placed at a grave during the high maintenance season. From March 21st until the week of Thanksgiving, only floral arrangements placed in a vase permanently affixed to a grave marker will be allowed.
