Preparations for Christmas begin early in the Town of Mocksville. Mocksville Tree of Honor

Help us “Flag” the Tree of Honor A “Tribute Tree” to honor and/or remember those who serve or have served to protect our freedom will be located at Mocksville Town Hall and will be on display throughout the 2021 holiday season. The Goal is to Fill the Entire Tree With Flags! For each $1 contribution, a United States flag will be placed on the tree to represent a designated service person. The holiday season is fast approaching and it’s time to get into the spirit by registering for the Hometown Christmas Parade which will be held on Saturday, December 4th at 2 p.m. The Hometown Christmas Parade is a beloved tradition that has been delighting young and old for decades. This year’s theme is “The 12 Days of Christmas.” Parade categories include businesses, churches, civic/non-profit groups, school groups, single/individual entries, and horses with entry fees ranging from $15 to $25. Scott Bader to Invest $16 Million in New Production Site in Mocksville

Global chemical company, Scott Bader, has acquired a new facility in Mocksville as it strives to meet growing domestic and global demand for its market-leading structural adhesives and gelcoats. The company has invested $16 million to purchase a 110,000 square foot industrial building on a 15-acre site in the SouthPoint Business Park on Hwy 601 N. With further investment, the site will be developed into a state-of-the-art gelcoat and structural adhesives manufacturing facility.
