The James M. Johnson House in Farmington, built in 1891, has been known as a place of hospitality for more than 100 years. Now that legacy continues as the Johnson House Bakery & Tea Room. Laura Mathis, affectionately known as Mrs. Laura, commemorated her grand opening on Friday, January 20th, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Davie County Chamber of Commerce.
