54th Annual Chamber Meeting Honors Local Leaders and Businesses

The Davie County Chamber of Commerce presented its 54th Annual Meeting on Friday, March 22nd, at WinMock in Bermuda Run.  The meeting was a sold-out event with 220 community and business leaders in attendance to hear about the state of the region, learn about leading by your values, and honor the recipients of the Chamber’s signature awards:  E.C. Chick-fil-A Breaks Ground in Bermuda Run

It’s official. CNBC Named North Carolina America’s Top State for Business in 2022

CNBC has named North Carolina America’s Top State for Business in 2022. Consistently in the top 10 since the study began in 2007, and a close 2nd last year, this is the first time North Carolina has taken the #1 spot.  How States Were Ranked CNBC scored all 50 states on 88 metrics in 10 broad categories of competitiveness. Davie Community Foundation Awarded $25,000 from Duke Energy to Support Small-Business Revitalization

Big Oak Ranch/Gold Leaf Training Celebrates Grand Opening in Mocksville

Big Oak Ranch/Gold Leaf Training celebrated its grand opening on Tuesday, August 11th, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Davie County Chamber of Commerce and a Business After Hours event hosted by Nathan Broyles of Nationwide Insurance. Despite the heat, family, friends, and chamber members turned out to congratulate new owner, Amanda Lowe, and to tour the facility and stroke the horses.
