Recognition Awarded to Mocksville Fire Department by North Carolina League of Municipalities

The Town of Mocksville consistently strives to enhance the well-being and safety of its residents. The North Carolina League of Municipalities recently recognized the Mocksville Fire Department for completing its NC Fire Department Risk Assessment Program.  This program serves as a valuable tool for fire chiefs and towns to identify any deficiencies, requirements, or potential challenges that may pose future problems. Dwiggins, Firefighter Joshua Collins, and Firefighter Chris Shoffner were instrumental in helping the Mocksville Fire Department achieve its heavy rescue certification. The hydraulic cutter & spreader, AJAX pneumatic breaker, metal saws and rope gear bags on the table represent a portion of the $50,000 worth of equipment the certification required.
