Le Bleu & Food Lion Combat Disabilities with Easter Seals

Le Bleu and Food Lion have teamed up for the second straight year to donate a percentage of sales to support Easter Seals. Le Bleu’s Ultra Pure Water displays an Easter Seal tag on the Food Lion shelves, stating that each purchase includes Le Bleu donations through Food Lion’s “Shop&Care”  program. Forbes Magazine Ranks North Carolina 3rd Best State for Business in America

Forbes magazine is ranking North Carolina as the 3rd Best State for Business in America, up 2 slots from last year’s Forbes ranking. In the Forbes rankings, North Carolina scored third in Business Costs and Regulatory Environment and ninth in Growth Prospects.  Forbes scored the states on six measures including business cost, labor supply, regulatory environment, economic climate, growth prospect and quality of life. Avgol Expansion Bringing 42 New Jobs to Mocksville!

Governor Perdue announced yesterday that Avgol, a leading manufacturer of ultra lightweight nonwoven fabrics, will expand its facility in Davie County. The company plans to create 42 jobs and invest $35 million during the next three years in Mocksville.
