Marketing Davie County & Our Region to the World! Piedmont Triad Partnership

The Piedmont Triad Partnership and the 13 local Economic Development organizations in the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina have developed a new management structure for the regional marketing program. The Piedmont Triad Economic Developers Council has been established as an LLC, with its own board comprised of the local economic development offices, with Terry Bralley, President of the of Davie County Economic Development Commission, as their chairperson.  “The new structure gives all of the Economic Development offices a hand in developing a program of work to advance external marketing and prospect development for everyone in the region,” explained Bralley. Davie County Economic Development Commission Receives Land Donation from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company

The Davie County Economic Development Commission (EDC) today announced that R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company has donated approximately 360 acres of land in Davie County to the EDC. The land has a property tax value of $3.5 million. “R.J. Reynolds’ gift of this prime industrial site greatly enhances the Commission’s economic development opportunities and consequent job creation,” said Terry Bralley, president of the EDC. “This gift is especially important, given the present economic climate. Construction Begins This Fall on $10 Million Health Care Facility in Mocksville

Autumn Care is investing in a new 70,000 square foot, 108 bed state of the art skilled nursing home in Mocksville, just off of Madison Road.   The $10 million investment will be used to replace the current Autumn Care facility located on Howard Street in Mocksville. 70,000 Sq Ft Project Means NC Jobs John M. Campbell Co. of Monroe, NC has been named as the general contractor and they are currently in the process of selecting sub-contractors for the year long construction project.  Construction should begin sometime this fall.  Patients should be moving in sometime in 2013.
