Pack the Park Night for American Legion Baseball – This Sunday, June 21!

Pack the Park Night On Sunday, June 21st our Mocksville-Davie American Legion Baseball Team will be taking on rival Rowan County at 7:00pm on Mondo Field at Rich Park in Mocksville.  This is “Pack the Park” night where the community is invited to bring back some of the heritage of the 80’s and 90’s by filling up the stands, the hillside, and the areas around the field.  Come on out, bring your family, and enjoy the sights and sounds of America’s Game under the lights. Dunlop Bringing New Aviation Manufacturing Jobs to Mocksville

British manufacturer Dunlop Aircraft Tyres has selected Mocksville, North Carolina as the site for its first retreading facility in the United States. Schools Closed For Students & Staff – Friday, February 14, 2014

Congratulations! Mocksville Police Win NC “Blue Light Special” Award

A Mocksville Police Car was selected one of the best looking and best equipped law enforcement vehicles in the State of North Carolina as a 3rd place winner of the 2014 “Blue Light Special Competition” during the North Carolina Governor’s Highway Safety Program (GHSP) Symposium held in Concord, North Carolina during the second week in January. “Twas the Night Before” Bed Race Kicks off 2013 Hometown Holiday Celebration

No one’s sure exactly when the word “bedroll” entered the English lexicon, but it definitely will take on a whole new meaning on Friday, November 22 in Historic Downtown Mocksville as intrepid teams from across Davie County and beyond take part in the 2nd annual “Twas the Night Before” Bed Race.
