Mocksville’s Mural Attracts Positive Attention

Mocksville’s downtown mural is accomplishing what it was commissioned to do — attract attention to downtown Mocksville. “The Running of the Horses” became an official Pokestop in the “Pokémon GO” mobile game in December. This month it is featured in the February issue of The Destination Magazine. “Destination is a monthly publication with over 4.5 million readers annually. Drive-Thru COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic This Friday at Davie County Community Park Davie County Health and Human Services (DC HHS) will hold a drive-thru vaccination clinic this Friday, January 15th from 10 a.m – 2 p.m at the Davie County Community Park, 151 Southwood Drive. Stay At Home Extension And Safety

As of January 6, 2021, North Carolina’s Modified Stay At Home Order requiring people to remain home between 10 p.m. – 5 a.m. has been extended until 5 p.m. on January 29, 2021. Other safety measures remain in place including the statewide mask mandate, closure of indoor bars, and limits on mass gatherings and retail establishment capacity. Free COVID Testing and Vaccination Schedule Updates

2021 Free COVID-19 TESTING Davie County’s free COVID-19  testing will continue in 2021 with a few changes. Beginning January 4, 2021, all testing will be conducted at Davie County Community Park, 151 Southwood Drive in Mocksville. Testing will be available Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be no testing on January 18 due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
