Pro Refrigeration Expanding Production at Mocksville Manufacturing Plant

Pro Chiller Systems has announced that it will shift the production of all standard equipment from its Auburn, Washington headquarters to its east coast manufacturing facility located in Mocksville, NC effective June 30th. Pro Refrigeration designs, manufactures, and distributes state-of-the-art refrigeration systems for the dairy, winery, food processing, medical, and brewing industries. Since opening in North Carolina in 2013, the percentage of equipment produced in North Carolina versus Washington has steadily increased reaching a 75% (NC) to 25% (WA) split in 2018. Local Industry and Community College Join Forces at Davie County Job Fair

Davie CONNECT and DCCC, the Community College of Davidson and Davie Counties joined forces on Wednesday, May 8th at the Davie Campus in Mocksville for the first co-sponsored job fair. The event brought together more than 20 employers representing a wide range of professions and industries. Substance Abuse Family Education (SAFE) members will host their first annual Superhero Gala on Saturday, May 11 at 6 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church Family Life Center on North Main Street in Mocksville. The evening will include a meal, an inspirational speaker, recognition of SAFE participants and information regarding the program.
