3rd Annual Farmington Fall Expo! ~ Saturday, 10 AM – 2 PM

The 3rd Annual Farmington Fall Expo is this Saturday from 10 AM until 2 PM.  This will be a day of family fun with food, kids games, antique tractors, live bands, silent auctions, crafters, vendors and organizations with information to share.  The Farmington Fall Expo is a community fund-raiser for playground equipment at the Farmington Community Center.  Admission is $2 or $1 plus 2 cans of food.  Children 12 and under admitted free. 9/11 Memorial Service ~ Mocksville Town Square War Memorial

Sunday marks 10 years since the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Davie County Emergency Services is marking the date with a memorial service at the War memorial on the Mocksville town square. The service will begin on the square at 2:00 PM.  There will be all types of emergency vehicles on display.  The ceremony agenda includes opening remarks, ROTC presenting colors, special speakers, and of course the National Anthem and the Pledge of Allegiance.
